KATHMANDU: The country is experiencing generally cloudy weather with light to moderate rain occurring in various locations across all provinces, due to active Monsoon winds, as reported by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. 

This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain partly to mostly cloudy with potential light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, as well as a few locations in other provinces. Heavy rain is likely at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the weather will continue to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with chances of light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, heavy rain is possible at one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces. The weather bulletin indicates that this pattern will persist over the next 24 hours.
