Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong to visit Nepal for diplomatic talks
KATHMANDU: Today, the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of China Sun Weidong, is set to arrive in Nepal on a three-day official visit. He is expected to take part in the 16th meeting of the Nepal-China Diplomatic Consultative Mechanism, which is scheduled On June 25, in Kathmandu. Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal will lead the Nepalese delegation during the conference, including top representatives from many ministries. The focus of the talks would be Nepal-China collaboration and bilateral ties.
Vice Foreign Minister Sun is scheduled to have separate courteous talks with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachada', and President Ram Chandra Paudel during his visit. On June 26, he is scheduled to return to China.
