Xiaomi Buds 5 officially unveiled and planned to arrive on July 19
Launched in 2022, Xiaomi Buds 4 featured a semi-in-ear design, IPX54 water resistance, active noise cancellation with real-time adjustability, and support for Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and LHDC 5.0 transmission protocol for CD-level sound quality.
Xiaomi Buds 4 also boasts a graphene dual magnetic dynamic driver for rich sound, 360-degree surround sound for an immersive listening experience, and a transparency mode for enhanced situational awareness. Features include microphone cutouts in each earcup for clear calls, push-buttons on the earcup for easy interaction, and three built-in noise-canceling microphones.
Xiaomi Mi Buds 4 has a battery life of 6 hours of playback on a single charge, and the Pebble Charging Case can extend the total playback time to 30 hours. Each earbud has a 30mAh battery, while the charging case has a capacity of 480mAh. Xiaomi Buds 4 offers the convenience of connecting two devices at the same time. While details on the Xiaomi Mi Buds 5 are still limited, the upcoming launch event will reveal full specifications and pricing. This event will also become the official launch platform for the Redmi K70 Extreme Commemorative Edition. Xiaomi has also confirmed the launch of its Mi Mix Fold 4 foldable phone, as well as the Mi Smart Band 9 and Mi Watch S4 Sport. The schedule is very full on July 19, which is undoubtedly an important day for Xiaomi and its product line. The design still appears to be semi-fitting, similar to Apple's AirPods, but with the addition of a new gold color option. Xiaomi Buds 5 comes in four colors: Moon Black, Snow Mountain White, Frost Blue and Titanium Gold. Promotional images suggest a revised design of the charging case with a more rounded rectangular shape compared to the previous iteration.
Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event on July 19 at 7:00 PM CST where they will unveil several new products. Among the anticipated releases is the new set of earbuds, the Xiaomi Buds 5. The company has also released several promotional posters showcasing the design of these upcoming earbuds.
