Ultima Blaze: A futuristic-looking wireless earbuds with ANC
Ultima produces TWS earbuds that go by the name Ultima Blaze, which will be available in Nepal from 6th August 2024. The Ultima Blaze are brand-new wireless earphones with blueish LEDs affirmation incorporated into both the earphones and the charging case. It has an ANC which cancels out external noise and has 13mm dynamic drivers for sound output.
Design
Specifically, the Ultima Blaze is designed in clamshell style with a clear lid on the upper side and a black non-shining base. The brand Ultima is engraved at the top of the case, and to the left there is a circular design with lines radiating from it.
The pattern is violet-blue that Ultima terms as ‘flaming LEDs’ and brings the external aspect of Iron Man’s arc reactor which provides the case with an unmistakable sci-fi appearance. If for instance you open the case you will see further the hi-tech feeling that enhanced by the gear patterns engraved in the plastic. In this state, the earbuds are positioned to each other which are inside the charging case.
The earbuds share the black and blue color scheme as the case; and have a typical TWS earbud look. They are IPX4 certified for the waterproof surface and possess an oval body and a stem. The Security of the earphones is provided by the silicone ear tips it comes with; they boost the noise cancellation feature

Features
The main selling point of these earbuds is active noise cancellation which is a rather unusual feature for wireless earbuds in this budget. Ultima boasts this one can cancel noise up to 30dB, however, this is yet to be seen as ANC in earbuds in this price segment are usually good on paper but poor in real-life implementation.
Also, there are four mics, two on each side, for a better call experience with the feature of ANC. For the sound, Ultima-tuned 13mm dynamic drivers are used in the earbuds and there is support for AAC and SBC audio codecs. Describing other aspects of the Ultima Blaze, it is necessary to note that it has built-in controls for music and voice assistant together with Rampage Mode containing 40 ms low latency. Also, another important aspect of the Ultima Blaze is the battery features: the case contains 380mAh battery, and each earbud has 40mAh battery. The firm says the earbuds has the ability to deliver five hours of use on a single charge and 42 hours if the charging case is factored in.
The earbuds are recharged via a USB-C port and according to the 5C boost charging of Ultima, 150 minutes playback can be secured with 10 minutes of charging. For the smartphone or other playback connection, it used Bluetooth 5. 3 and swift pair technology that showcases a new and improved way to connect quicker and with less difficulties. The Nepal price of Ultima Blaze is Rs. 2,999. However, a new offer appears in Ultima from 6 August 2024 when they will retail the earphones for RS. 1, 999/- only. The purchase latest for 6 months while the replacement has warranty of only 30 days.
