Apple Watch 10 Series leaks: A larger screen, smaller design, and health tracking are predicted
Tech giant Apple is reportedly set to unveil its latest innovations in wearable technology this September with the launch of the much-anticipated iPhone 16 series. The upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 (also rumored to be the Watch Series X) promises a major redesign and feature enhancements, according to recent leaks. So-called CAD renderings leaked by 91Mobiles provide an insight into the design development of the Apple Watch Series 10. The difference between the products is that the Ultra 2 has a smaller screen, 1.7 inches and 1.93 inches respectively. The Apple Watch Series 10 is said to measure around 46 x 39.7 x 11.6mm, suggesting a slimmer, slimmer profile than the previous Ultra model and a larger form factor compared to the Series 9. Familiar elements such as the digital crown, square display and side buttons are expected to be retained, while a new band connection system will be introduced to improve usability. In terms of display technology, the Series 10 is said to use a Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LTPO) OLED display and advanced Thin Film Transistor (TFT) and is expected to improve battery efficiency over its predecessor.
One of the most anticipated new features of the Apple Watch Series 10 is rumored to be the ability to monitor blood pressure, a first for Apple's line of smartwatches. This feature can greatly enhance the device's health tracking capabilities, allowing users to seamlessly monitor trends in blood pressure levels.
Apple is expected to officially unveil the Apple Watch Series 10 at an event on September along with the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models. Following the successful launch of the Series 9 and Ultra 2 models last year, pricing details and availability are likely to be announced at the event.
