NEPSE sees stability with modest rise in index of 3.79 points
KATHMANDU: Following considerable volatility on Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Market (NEPSE) showed stability on Wednesday. The NEPSE index recorded a modest increase of 3.79 points today after a notable surge of 47 points the previous day. Closing at 2104 points and 0.18 percent increase in index.
During today's trading session, 101 companies observed gains in their share prices, while 136 companies witnessed declines. Market activity included 61,199 transactions involving 314 companies, with a total of 17.34 million shares traded. The day concluded with transactions valued at Rs 5.08 billion. Notably, Manjushree Finance led in transaction value with Rs 230.1 million, followed by ICFC Finance at Rs 174.9 million, and Reliance Finance at Rs 165.2 million.
