Anthropic launches free Claude AI chatbot for Android
The Claude AI chatbot app is currently available for iOS and Android users can now download it from the Google Play Store. It is easy to download and register. Once users are signed in and verified, Claude can start using it completely free of charge. I downloaded it and gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised by its ability to help create a ramen recipe from scratch. A great feature of the app is that it can continue chatting from other devices.
Anthropic has announced that its Claude chatbot is now available as an Android app. After introducing a free iOS app in the platform in May, Android owners can now also play with the company's AI on their mobile devices. The Android app is free and works with both paid user pro and team plans. Conversations with Claude can take place throughout the hardware, both with mobile apps and a web version connected to each other.
This platform is one of several large language model AI-chERS, which is currently available to the public. OpenAI and its ChatGPT tool have attracted the most attention. ChatGPT is already available as an Android and iOS app and is the basis for many of the new Apple Intelligence features. However, it is possible that Claude can be stronger skills. According to Antropic, the Claude 3 version of the platform worked better than both ChatGTT and Google Gemini on some important benchmarks. The Opus version of Claude 3 achieved the highest score in March, and the Sonnet 3.5 version achieved the same result in June. We always have to make this comparison with one of the companies in question. But even the leap of several months between sonnets and works seems impressive.
