KATHMANDU: In Patarasi Rural Municipality, Jumla, a fatal motorcycle accident claimed the life of one individual. The incident occurred at 8:30 PM on Saturday in Tallo Larpo, Patarasi Rural Municipality-5, involving motorcycle registration number Ka 1 Pa 2077.

Umesh Chandra, the information officer at the District Police Office, confirmed the fatality, identifying the deceased as Min Bahadur Budha, 29, a resident of Patarasi-5. Despite efforts to save him, Budha succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Karnali Academy of Health Sciences in Jumla. Family members swiftly transported Budha to the academy using an ambulance provided by the rural municipality.

Police investigations revealed that the motorcycle veered off the road, plunging approximately 75 meters into the Juwa River, after the rider lost control on the narrow and rugged path.
