2 dead, 3 injured in Salyan jeep accident
KATHMANDU: On Monday night, a jeep accident in Salyan resulted in two fatalities and three injuries. The jeep was en route to Luham Bazar from ward 4 of Triveni Rural Municipality when it veered off the road and plunged approximately 25 meters near Putali Durbar.
The accident left Top Bahadur Sahu and Lali Rawat seriously injured. Both individuals succumbed to their injuries during medical treatment.
The injured individuals include Kamal Reule, a 28-year-old driver from ward 3 of Triveni Rural Municipality, Purnakala Basnet, aged 40, and Rabins Mahatara, aged 29. All three are currently receiving treatment at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Dang.
Police Inspector Resham Bahadur Khatri confirmed the details of the accident and the ongoing medical care for the survivors.
