2 bodies found, suspected motorcycle accident, in Kerabari, Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered in Kerabari, Dakshinkali Municipality-8, Kathmandu district. The Kathmandu Valley Police Office reported that the bodies were found in a ditch approximately 200 meters below the Kathmandu-Dakshinkali road.
Dinesh Raj Mainali, the spokesperson and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office, stated that a motorcycle (registration number Bagmati Pra 03-02-007 Pa 3812) was also located near the scene, suggesting that the individuals may have perished in a motorcycle accident.
Mainali mentioned that the Nepal Police Disaster Management Office team retrieved the bodies after locals alerted the police about the discovery on Wednesday evening. However, the identity of the deceased man remains unknown, while the woman has been identified as Sabina Rai, aged 35, from Changunarayan Municipality-5.
